Public Safety DAS System Design and Installation

What is a DAS System

Purpose of a DAS System

Purpose of a DAS System

A distributed antenna system, or DAS, is a network of spatially separated antenna nodes connected to a common source via a transport medium that provides wireless service within a geographic area or structure. DAS antenna elevations are generally at or below the clutter level, and node installations are compact.  - Wikipedia

Distributed antenna systems (DAS) were designed to extend wireless coverage within structures and enable radios and cell phones to work regardless of their position within the building.

A public safety DAS system, an extended wireless coverage you cannot afford to be without.

Purpose of a DAS System

First and foremost, it's the LAW.

  • All new buildings should have approved radio coverage for emergency responders within the building.
  • Radio signal strength requirements must be met in 95% of all areas on each floor of the building.
  • All existing buildings should have radio coverage throughout the building and are required to retrofit the building with radio coverage if the existing wired system is not able to be repaired or is being replaced; or per a timeline as identified by the jurisdiction.
  • Public safety (DAS) ensures that first responders such as Fire-persons, Paramedics, Police etc., are able to maintain communication with each other in order to unify their efforts in providing a more efficient response to an emergency situation.

We provide professional DAS installation. In-building cellular DAS with turnkey solution.
